We have over 19 years of local experience in the UAE and are proud to be part of the country’s story. At Cemex, we have supplied ready-mix concrete and cement to some of the UAE’s most iconic projects, supporting innovative and sustainable green building solutions across the nation.

At Cemex UAE, we have supplied  high-quality, durable concrete for landmarks like the Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai, Dubai International Airport, projects by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), the gold-rated LEED-certified Mirdif City Center, the Hodiryat Bridge, DEWA and ADEWA, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Pavilion for Expo 2020, the Dubai Hills Mall, Burj Royale Downtown Dubai, the Leader Sports Mall, FIVE luxury apartments at Jumeirah Beach Residence, Ferrari World at Yas Island, the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi, SeaWorld at Yas Island, and many individual mixed-use towers including the UAE's tallest industrial tower as well as hundreds of private villas.

Landmark Projects in the UAE

We are a company focused on creating sustainable value by providing industry-leading products and solutions to satisfy the construction needs of our customers in the UAE. Below are some of our landmark projects in the UAE.

Residential

Cemex supplied over 2,000 m³ of Ready-to-use and colored plaster for this famous hotel complex covering 100 hectares, giving an attractive, durable, low maintenance surface: matching the requirements of this prestige development.

Commercial

More than 140,000 m³ of premium concrete has been supplied to a state-of -art mall in Dubai. The Dubai Hills Estate is an 11,000,000 m² mega-development undertaken by a joint venture comprising Emaar and Meraas developers.

Structural

Cemex has supplied more than 11,000 m³ to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's pavilion in EXPO 2020. The project was awarded for the best exterior design and best display. The Saudi pavilion also holds three Guinness World Records for: The longest interactive water curtain (32m long), the largest interactive light floor, and the largest interactive digital screen mirror (1,240 m²).

Industrial

Around 100,000 m³ of concrete has been supplied to the first coal-based power plant in the region. The 2,400MW Hassyan clean coal power station is an ultra-supercritical (USC) power plant project being developed in Saih Shuaib, Dubai.

 Structural

 
With over 100,000 m³, Cemex supplied a specially designed high durability concrete for the piling works of this landmark development. This concrete was designed to have very high levels of resistance to aggressive chemicals present in the groundwater, whilst remaining easy to pour, pump and place.

Our grinding mill enables a vertically integrated operation and allows us to supply cement and cementitious products like GGBS and Eco-cem to third-party ready-mix and precast manufacturers.
