Residential

CEMEX have supplied over 120,000 m3 of concrete to this villa development for one of the major property development companies in the UAE. CEMEX worked with the contractor to ensure that the construction was supported in the most efficient and effective way.

CEMEX supplied over 2,000 m3 of ready to use and coloured plaster for this famous hotel complex covering 100 hectares, giving an attractive, durable, low maintenance surface; matching the requirements of this prestige development.

For this prestigious development CEMEX supplied over 1,000m3 of Screed concrete, for which the highest standards were required. High quality finishes were applied to the Readyscreed throughout the building.

Comercial

CEMEX supplied over 168,000 m3 of low carbon ready-mix concrete for Mirdif City Center. The shopping mall is the first in the region to follow ecologically friendly and sustainability compliant construction techniques from its early design stages and is Dubai's first LEED Gold rated mall.

The entrance to this landmark development was completed using stamped concrete to give a durable, hard wearing, attractive finish that will last for many years with minimal maintenance.

Floors for the Exhibition Hall of the World Trade Centre were cast using steel fibre reinforced to cut down on reinforcement steel costs, reduce construction time and produce a more durable, crack resistant concrete.

Structural

CEMEX supplied over 100,000 m3 of a specially designed high durability concrete for the piling works of this landmark development. This concrete was designed to have very high levels of resistance to aggressive chemicals present in the groundwater, whilst remaining easy to pour, pump and place.

CEMEX was chosen as the sole concrete supplier by the main contractor, VSL, due to our proven track record in being able to deliver solutions to complex technical requirements. The project called for a concrete that would deliver exceptional slump performance, remaining workable for up to 4 hours on site, yet would achieve a compressive strength of 32 Mpa at 30 hours. CEMEX succesfully supplied over 50,000 m3 of concrete to his landmark project.

CEMEX supplied over 10,000 m3 of Lightweight Structural concrete for the mezzanine levels of this prestigious construction project, allowing for greater spans between columns withing the structure without sacrificing structural performance.

Industrial

Dubai's tallest industrial tower, cast entirely using CEMEX Evolution self compacting concrete (SCC), allowing significant savings in time, labour, equipment and finishing works. Over 6,000 m3of Evolution SCC was used in its construction.

CEMEX was the exclusive supplier of over 9,000 m3 of Pervious concrete for use in the Dubailand Reservoir project. The use of the Pervious concrete allowed to the effective control and capture of fresh water that would otherwise have been lost, helping to conserve a precious and valuable resource.
