CEMEX UAE has over 10 years local experience in the UAE and we are part of the country’s story. CEMEX has supplied readymix concrete and cement to iconic and innovative green building solutions throughout the UAE.
CEMEX UAE has supplied concrete to most of the iconic projects in the UAE such as Burj Al Arab, Dubai Airports, RTA, Mirdif City Centre’s Gold Rated Leed Project, Yas Island, Dubai Mall, Hodariyat Bridge, DEWA, ADWEA, Legoland, Motiongate, Bollywood and to many individual mixed use towers, including the UAE’s tallest industrial tower and many hundreds of individual villa’s.
CEMEX’s UAE concrete operation produces a full range of concretes from it locations in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Uniquely CEMEX has a range of low carbon concretes sold under the ReadyGREEN® product brand specifically designed for use in the UAE. Using Duracem®, a recycled product, CEMEX has created a high performing, high durability concrete that contains significantly less embodied carbon than traditional concretes.
CEMEX’s ReadyGREEN® concrete contributes to a multitude of Leed Points and Estidama credits, including as an example, but not limited to, Design for Durability, Regional Materials and Recycled Materials. ReadyGREEN® is one of our innovative readymix concrete products that drive sustainable and economic solutions.
User base
Concrete is the construction material of choice in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The Company operates in the two main urban markets of Dubai, and the capital Abu Dhabi where the government continues to drive major projects as part of its Vision 2030. The company maintains a loyal and sophisticated customer base in both markets. Our grinding mill, while facilitating a vertically integrated operation, also allows us to sell cement and other cementitious products (e.g. GGBS and Eco-cem) to third parties, mainly in bulk to ready-mix concrete and precast manufacturers.
