Living the CEMEX Values in the United Arab Emirates
Our values make up the essence of our culture: they express who we are, how we behave, and what we believe in. In 2016, CEMEX UAE live these values by implementing several initiatives and achievements in the country.
We make safety a personal responsibility and hold each other accountable for safe acts and behaviors, ensuring that nothing comes before the health & safety of our people, contractors and the community.
In the UAE, we pride ourselves in achieving zero Lost Time Injury (LTI) for two (2) consecutive years, contributing to our CEMEX Global ZERO4LIFE goals.
We also launched the Fleet Management system, which has increased the safety of our drivers and the road users, the system monitors for common driving violation such as over speeding, harsh cornering, harsh braking and harsh acceleration.
It also helps with the fatigue management of our drivers, helping them avoid risky situations and preventing overwork. Furthering our efforts, we have improved their performance and strengthened the communication with them. We managed to mitigate incident risks therefore gaining more confidence in the performance of our driving personnel and contributing the road safety for the local community.
We build close customer relationships that set us apart from our competitors by listening to our customers, understanding their challenges and providing valuable solutions
To serve our customer even better we have deployed the Easy Business Solution such as 24 Hour Promise for Small End Customers (SEC), On time Delivery, Easy Payment Solution and Call Center system that centralizes communication, provides toll free calls, logs workflow and agent activity for quality analysis and assurance purposes.
