CEMEX Supermix LLC participates in Emirates Environmental Group Paper Collection Campaign

CEMEX UAE contributed about 700 kg of waste paper to EEG’s initiative umbrella called “One Root One Communi-Tree 2016.”

As our organization consistently focuses on social responsibility & achieving environmental excellence, CEMEX in the UAE took part once more with the Emirates Environmental Group’s (EEG) initiative of “One Root One Communi-Tree 2016”.

The EEG's drive intends to highlight the benefit of recycling, by urging the companies who participated to gather and store assortment of waste, like papers, plastics, cell phones, toner cartridges and aluminum jars. Towards the end of the campaign, a delegate from the association will gather the recyclables and will concede an authentication certificate to companies that achieved their objective standard, making them qualified to plant a tree under their name in one of the general population zones of UAE.

This time, CEMEX contributed 700 kg of waste paper to the organization.
