CEMEX UAE RMS Users Meet to Assess Readiness for Change

In the thick of implementing Ready Mix Solutions (RMS), the new system that will replace GINCO,  designated power users, end users and supervisors paused for a day  and assessed their readiness for the big change in our system and processes. This was held in The Address Dubai Marina on the 21st of July. 

Operations Director Alfredo Nicdao opened the session by reminding everyone of our values as CEMEX. He challenged the Users to always Pursue Excellence in every bit of the RMS process they are responsible for and added that it is only by doing so that we will be able to better Serve or Focus on our Customers.

Further, he emphasized that Acting with Integrity is a must and that every information inputted into the system must be true and accurate. In closing he added that we are all in this implementation together and we will only succeed when we Work As One Cemex!

RMS Project Leaders Victor Gonzalez and Omnia Mostafa took turns in facilitating the session. They presented an overview of RMS, discussed the roles and responsibilities of everyone involved and proceeded with the readiness assessment by administering a questionnaire that details all the RMS activities.

Omnia facilitated an exercise that clearly conveyed the message that in the RMS system, each step of the process must be flawlessly executed because when one fails, the whole process falls and will need to be built again from the start. The teambuilding exercises as shown in the photos below, made them all realize that the success of RMS largely depends on them as ONE CEMEX Team.

RMS Users expectations were gathered in a very open discussion and it was pleasing to note the very candid expression of concerns from the participants.Their doubts, ideas and suggestions were heard and they have all committed to do their best for CEMEX UAE to succeed in implementing RMS!
